Volunteering with Rebuilding Together Metro Denver is a unique experience that brings together individuals from all sectors and associations. Volunteers work together to improve the quality of life for at-risk homeowners and are the backbone of the organization. When you volunteer, you make a lasting impact on the people who you serve as well as the people you serve with.

Join us for a Rebuilding Day!
If you are registering for a specific Rebuilding Day project, please fill out a volunteer application here. By registering, you are committing to work on that project. The registration process also acts as a waiver of liability. Once you have completed the registration process, all you have to do is show up and have a great time volunteering! Check out our Calendar for some of our upcoming Rebuilding Days. While most of these days are the results of RTMD's generous corporate sponsors and volunteers, some are also open to individuals. Subscribe to our Newsletter to stay in the know!
Volunteer Skilled Trades and Handy People:
You are at the heart of our work. We have requests every day for repairs, small and large, that cannot wait for big event days. If you have skills at fixing things and are willing to give us some time, please contact us so we can work with your schedule and match you with homeowners in need. Check out our Safe at Home program page for some more info!
Volunteer Home Previewer:
You'll work with the RTMD staff to conduct the initial inspection of a home so we can get ready to do some repairs! We have a “must attend” training course of a couple of hours where you receive materials and examples provided by RTMD. Basic knowledge of construction and home repair issues is beneficial for this position. Please contact us to get started previewing the homes of those we assist.
Volunteer Outreach Assistant – Remote Position:
Are you a social butterfly? You can help us reach into metro communities to recruit potential sponsors and volunteers, secure donations, and spread awareness of RTMD’s mission. Regular responsibilities include research of potential partners, giving presentations, and occasionally attending outreach events with RTMD staff and other volunteers. Please contact us to get started today to help spread the news about our important work.
Current volunteer opportunities for groups:
Most group volunteer activities are associated with a corporate financial donation and employee volunteers from the sponsoring organization, however, occasionally RTMD has opportunities for group volunteers. Please contact us if your group has identified RTMD as a potential organization to support to discuss what might be available at the time of your request.
If you would like to volunteer for a certain position but do not see it listed, let us know your interest, group size, and availability. You will be contacted by RTMD with more information.
