Day Sponsors Ready to Go! Please

Day April 28, 2007. They will rehabilitate 31 homes and one
nonprofit school. These teams will be part of an effort that
will rehabilitate as many as 10,000 homes nationwide on that

| Come
to New Orleans with us to rebuild |
May
13-19 a team of volunteers and staff from Rebuilding Together
Metro Denver will join other volunteers from around the
country to rebuild homes in New Orleans that were damaged
during hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
This
program, called Rebuild1000!, has already rebuilt almost
200 homes in the Gulf - and just like the projects you have
supported here, all the work is done at no cost to these
low-income homeowners.
Please
join us for this worthwhile project to get people back into
their homes! We would like to take a team of 50 people so
that we can complete at least 2-3 homes during the week
we're there.
Accommodations
(Marriott hotel), meals and local transportation are provided
on the project days - you just need to get yourself to the
hotel in New Orleans.

"I
went to New Orleans with 30 volunteers from St. Louis in January
to rebuild 6 homes. It was a really good experience - I was
really personally touched by the experience. There were local
residents helping in rebuilding,It was neighbors helping neighbors.
By the end of the week, the consensus was that everyone wanted
to come back to rebuild more homes!"

| Leads
Groups set a new record |
The
Denver Metro Chamber Leads Group 1 sponsored a house on Rebuilding
Day last April. They found it so worthwhile, they decided
to invite the other 14 Leads Groups in the Chamber to join
them this year by individually donating funds and their time.
The
result? Leads Groups will be rehabilitating 4
homes this April with over 100 volunteers/donors.
A record for any one sponsor or volunteer group!

| Rebuilding
Days and other projects rely on the generosity of "in kind"
donors - those who give services or materials at no cost - to
accomplish some of the more technical or difficult work. Stellar
Painting has now tackled the exterior paint and repair needs
for three families. It's easy to see the dramatic difference
it makes in the neighborhood in addition to the the way it helps
keep families warm and dry while preserving their home. |

Aerotek
Golf to Benefit RTMD
On
Thursday, June 7, 2007, Aerotek is teaming up with Rebuilding Together
Metro Denver to host its 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Saddle
Rock Golf Course in Aurora, Colorado. The tournament is going to
be a scramble format and will kick-off with an 8AM Shotgun start.
Immediately following the tournament, there will be a “Pig
Roast” Luncheon and Raffle Prize Giveaway for all tournament
participants. All proceeds will benefit RTMD, and Allegis Group
will match every dollar raised. If you are interested in sponsorship
