Dear
Friends,
Happy Spring!
Rebuilding Together is an organization that knows when Spring is upon us - it's our busy season and that means we are "into" all TOOLS, and paint, roofs, windows, doors, furnaces, appliances, flooring and all the "stuff" that make homes warm, safe and dry. April 29th is our National Rebuilding Day event and we plan to assist more than 75 homeowners with repairs to their deteriorating and unsafe homes. Many volunteers, organizations, vendors and suppliers are stepping up to help us do this work in the community and we couldn't possibly do it without them!
Next month, we'll update you further about the upcoming event! Meanwhile......can you join us in our efforts to make this huge event one of our most successful? If you can help us get donations of goods or services, or if you personally would like to make a donation for Rebuilding Day, please go to www.rebuildingdenver.org or, purchase a gift card from Home Depot, Lowes, Target, or any retailer and we will put it to good use - thanks for your support and have a wonderful spring!

Spotlight: Susan and Mary |
Next month these two homes, 2 of the 27 homes being repaired on Rebuilding Day, will be done by volunteer teams from Countrywide Home Loans.
Susan is 73 years old, disabled, and has lived in her home for 37 years. There are many warmth and safety issues that need attention in Susan's home. Handrails, bathroom modifications, but perhaps the most critical is repair to the bathroom subfloor, shown to the right. This team will be repairing the subfloor and putting down new tile in the bathroom.
